[Spoiler] What armor do You use? (Assassin/Archer)

Post » Tue Nov 29, 2011 9:19 pm

So what armor do You use as Assassin/archer type class? What Legendary did you Craft? atm I'm using (Dragon scale Armor(Legendary)- light Armor type).
Now My question would be, should I stick to this one and enchant it later on, or should I get Daedric since it provides more defense. Due I play as Assassin. Most of the time I take out targets from long range but when I get forced I also use my Legendary daggers~both of my skills (archery/one handed) are on skill+70... So I do deal amazing damage with both. But if multiple targets attack me (especially casters) I take alot of damage from them.... guess it's lack in defense.

So what do You think (Should I craft daedric for sake of higher defense rating and Lose some sneak advantage (sneaking in plate makes noices) or Should I keep my Dragon scale and play the way of "shadow" Assassin?

I'm using the Nightingale Armor from the Thieves Guild questline. Haven't done any smithing yet and don't really plan to.

dragonscale armor is light version of dragon armor. As for me I use ancient shroud set from the dark brotherhood rewards. One of the best sets ever before you can enchant well .

You could always get a hold of the Daedric Boots of Muffling. "Wearer now moves silently"

Boom, sneaky plate. I am an invisible plate wearing duel wielding archer from hell. very rewarding gameplay

Because, it is a huge perk investment, Excellent theives/assassins might have other things to do besides blacksmithing. Offense >> Defense.

The ONLY thing I would ever consider work perking in smithing at this point is Arcane Smith so I can sharpen/improve any magic equipment.

Is there leveling limit i.e how many levels can you earn per character?

I love my Nightingale Armor, by far my favorite armor in any TES games, and I love using it

How far into the Theives Guild questline is the Nightengale armour? I dont need specific details; just an idea. At the end/middle?

Just after the halfway point.

Mixture of Nightingale/Guild Master/DB. From these you can get all the lovely bonuses to suit your Assassin. And faceroll everything on Master difficulty, smithing/enchanting would just be overkill considering how OP you can be without them anyway.

81 is the hard cap, not 75. So you get 80 perks.

I use light armour because it looks better for the part. I actually use heavy gloves sometimes if it looks cool.

Currently at legendary elven, as I don't have enough ore to make a full set of glass yet.
