Alright. You guys know that quest where you have to retrieve at least one of the four counterfeit gold bars and get paid ### gold per each returned? I recently did this quest and gathered three (didn't bother with the fourth one as it was in a dungeon). When I return to the questgiver, Daggerfall crashes with error 112. I think it may be because you're not supposed to return more than one bar at once (seeing how I get one message per bar returned). Any ideas?

Hmm... not sure what to tell you. This is why I always save before accepting a quest. I haven't done that quest in years (probably since the days before Morrowind), but I don't remember there being any problem with returning them all at once.

At any rate, failing a quest is not a disaster in this game. In fact, sometimes failing one part of a quest leads to another part you otherwise would not have seen (not that this is the case for the four gold bars quest). So I wouldn't worry too much.

Still, you could try running the fixsave utility, and see if that helps.

The quest's reward is bugged.

Even if you return the four gold bars, the quest giver will still reward you for one gold bar.

This bug never happened to me...did you try dropping the two gold bars but keep the other one?
