As most of you may know.... Crysis 2 is riddled with hacking and cheating wastes of life...
Though what frustrates me the most is that, even when 15 of the 16 players noticed theres a hacking cheater on the server...
The only thing they can do is chat mesages like "OMG GTFO HAX"
The other thing would be to quit the server, but that doesnt get you anywere because the next server will often have another cheater in it.
The most basic and easy to put in "quick fix" to get rid of the bulk of many cheaters is to add a Votekick system.
Ofcourse the game needs to be thouroughly rewritten and protected against hacking software.
But for now a votekick system atleast gives people the power to reject those miserable sh!ts.
Ofcourse, some people who are just plain good at the game might get kicked aswell, but they probably would be better of on a higher ranked server anyways. And i think they'd wanna sacrifice a few misunderstanded votekicks to atleast keep the cheaters out.
Things that might be pretty obvious to detect are:
- Players that shoot while cloaked
Players that teleport all over the place (including up "out of reach" places)
Players that wont die even when attacked by 4 players at the same time
Players that have their sights/killcams whizzing all over the place... AIMBOTS
Players that never need to reload
Players that call in multiple orbital strikes without having any killstreaks going on
Players that have more than 3 times the amount of kills any other player on the server has
