Mod to increase number of enemies after hitting the level ca

Hi there,

I was wondering whether there exists a good mod which increases the number of enemies after you hit level 30.

The problem is the following:

I am playing Fallout New Vegas at "very high difficulty" + "hardcoe mode" + "without scrounger perk". Even so I find the game, albeit brillantly designed, a little too easy, simply due to the fact that there are comparatively few enemies.
The problem is that on the one hand you have this awesome variety and selection of weaponry (for example, you get 5 different shotgun types at a particular moment of the game and when you start thinking "oh, that must have been it", you find another one, and another one) - that is great! On the other hand, however, you can′t make extensive use of all these things due to the low number of enemies, especially on particular places (like Helios 1 plant or Repconn testsite). Even though there are some tough enemies in "very hard mode", you usually have much more ammunition than what you need. I am leaving my companions "at home" (in the safe houses), otherwise I wouldn′t have much to do. I know that, if they had increased the number of enemies, the player would hit the level 30 cap even ealier than it already happens in the normal game. So what I would simply like is to play until level 30 (I am currently 18 and reached Camp Forlorn Hope) and then get better challenges, like for example in a place similar to Helios 1 plant not meet only 2 sentry bots, but maybe 10. I simply want to experience situations in which you have enormous battles, run out of ammunition and have to resort to a lower grade weapon in order to finish them of. For example, currently I almost got 2000 .357 bullets, more than 1000 9 mm and probably will never need to use them again. I got 1300 flamer fuel and didn′t use them yet, and I got 100 missiles already without even having the missile launcher!
To summarize:

I do not necessarily want to get them tougher (in very hard mode some enemies are challenging), but simply more numerous so that you have more and extensive battles and can really make use of all weaponry and all options.

Martigens Mutant Mod needs a New Vegas port I agree. While New Vegas is a brilliant and well balanced game, IMO, it suffers from TLSTS. Too Little S! To Shoot.

thanks for your reply, but to be honest, I didn′t understand a word you said:

- Martigens Mutant Mod?
- port?
- IMO?
- S! ?

Can you put it into a more accessible english language? Thank you

Ah. Ask and thou shalt receive as I said once.

Martigens Mustant Mod or MMM are two so-called spawn mods for The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion and Fallout 3. What it does is that is enables you to modify to your own liking the appearances of monsters and enemies in the game world. It's very modular and extremely popular. I've used it for both games.

A port is when you transfer an asset (Game, code, program etc.) to another system or game. Mostly when people talks about ports it's from PC to television consoles or vice versa. Here I used it to refer the transfer of MMM from Fallout 3 to Fallout: New Vegas and making it work with the latter game.

IMO is an acronym meaning "In My Opinion" IMHO means the same where the "H" stands for "Humble" or "Honest". People prefer one or the other. I prefer IMO

Since we can't "swear" on these forums we have to short them down. S! in this case is an synonym to "Crap"

Hope that helped :)

Edit: Typo

closest thing to MMM right now is the more spawns module in my mod. You can download it and use just the more spawns one without any problems. Mod is in my sig.

Thank you all for your replies.

@ D-11: Thank you for your clarification. Despite that fact that I have been pc-gamer for 19 years now (yes, I played all the Fallout parts, only the classic Wasteland was before my time) this particular "abbreviating" language which is frequently used in the internet somehow eluded me, don′t know why. But now I am smarter ;-)
Well, I will continue playing for the time being as it is - as I read later on there will come quite some tough parts where enemies are quite swarming, so maybe I will get rid of my million missiles otherwise the shack (Harper′s Shack) where I am storing all my ammunition will disintegrate in an explosion that the whole wasteland has never seen before ;-)
