Shadow Movement

Post » Wed Nov 30, 2011 1:40 pm

Are the shadows suppose to move in larg incraments? I don't remember them doing that before. Looks like they should move slowly as the sum moves. Just started seeing this and is getting a little on my nerves, though someone might have an answer. Thanks

It saves graphics power, a mod will surely come out to improve this though.

I noticed this during waiting. Does it do it during normal game play?

And yes, it's like that in all vanilla versions (PS3, Xbox and PC).

I don't think it has anything to do with "saving graphics power", or for performance reasons or whatever. If you set a really high timescale, the shadow will appear to move more steps per game tic - yet performance isn't affected at all.

In GTA 4, the shadows moved every game tic, really smoothly, it doesn't seem to be causing any issues.
