Okay, I have to admit, I took the character from http://www.gamesas.com/bgsforums/index.php?showtopic=981979. It revolves around a twelve year old kid named Kyle, who wants to be a raider, since its 'hardcoe'. He uses jet, and holds up caravans with his Scoped 44. Magnum. I haven't though of an actual plot yet (post an idea, if you think its good) but i'll think of one. He looks like he does in the story I took it from. So, is it good?

I'm going to have to say no, because its using someone elses character. Make your own character up rather than someone elses.

If you have permission and it's fine with him with the direction you'll take the story in, then go for it. What you have here are collaborative fics, which can be tricky because when you use someone else's character, you always run the risk of offending them. That said, I always enjoy stories about raiders.

No, because a poser like that would end up with a bullet in his head the first time he tried to hold up a caravan. He's only a raider because that's "hardcoe" ? He's a jet user? Come on now.

Edit: On the other hand, does he have the mystical FO3 "children are immune to damage" perk? That changes things.

Well, not just because he thinks its hardcoe, his parents died, and he was out in the wasteland, alone, with his dads 44., with nothing to turn to but crime. He just thinks he's a hardcoe bad-ass. And he dosen't know jet can potentially harm him. I'm not really using his character's story/ personality, I jsut am using the way he looks and his gun. Plus, I think a raider child would be an interesting story.

Well since you did get his permission, I would say maybe. My first question is how old is the kid, if he's only 14 or 17 then I would say no. 18 and up would be ok, but I'm still a little weary about a child Raider.

EDIT: Also, I may or may not be making a Raider Rp sometime soon. The Rp's on here are old, and something new needs to be made?

I say, with permission you can go ahead and have at it. However, you're gonna need more than raider kid doing jet for a concept. I'm not completely taken with the character, but not against you giving it a try. Just make sure the story is compelling enough to carry the character or vice-versa... or better yet, have em both kick... er.. a$$. Good luck!

Considering this kid got plugged before he could get a shot off in the other story, he obviously doesn't have what it takes to survive. Unless your just using the name and description of the character. He sounds like pretty reckless little punk the way he thinks he is 'bad ass' and does jet, so we'll see I guess. Also is he gonna be wandering on his own until old enough to try a get a gang together or something? because raiders aren't exactly gonna see the kid out in the wasteland and say 'hey littl boy, wanna be a raider?. They would shoot him in the head as soon as they saw him, or slavers would probably get him. Well we'll just see I guess, good luck to the kid.

you don't have to join a gang to be a raider, there are freelancers, like Mel.

I don't think a twelve year old kid could survive doing all that, even in fallouts world. Unless he's got a horrible growth defect that makes him seven feet tall

He's not going to be taking on whole armies! Just like, a scavenger, or one or two raiders.
