Ahh, yes. Lets compare a $60 game that will be fixed for free to a car or TV that costs much more money and you would have to pay to repair.

If i buy a car or TV that does not work, i return it and get it replaced or get my money back. It does'nt matter how much you pay for an item, its your rights as a consumer.
I did'nt buy the game second-hand. I bought it brand new and its faulty so therefore i should be entitled to a full refund by the publisher or the retailer, but since the retailer is not at fault then i'd say that the publisher is at fault for releasing a sub standard product.
