In this quest i have to try and convice the Khans to help the NCR fight againts the Legion. I talked to Papa Khan who did not agree to helping the NCR but when i spoke to Regis he said he would help them but cant because of Papa. So i got proof of the Legion going to kill the Khans after they're done using them but i didnt get any new dialouge options and now im stuck here and ive talked to every important NPC in the Khan base and got nothing and in my quest log it doesnt show the next part for my quest it just showed the parts ive completed.

this is actually a fair sized quest eh? its not just finding the book of the legion ambassador in his room.. but you've gotta to talk and convince two or three other people to argue with papa for you..

Regis spoke to me and told me everyone I had to talk to just after I finished talkin with papa..

Well with me i get no new dialouge options and ive talked to all three people: Papa, Regis and Karl
The quest just seems to stop right there for me.

Yup stuck here too... No further quest markers or dialogue options with Regis upon getting the journal. Kinda svcks as this was a longer sidequest....

Alright.. so I talked to Papa.. showed him the book, he gets pissed, expels the ambassador, then guns him down..

Then I talked to papa.. told him Caesar's alliance was a bad idea.. then i walked outside..

as soon as I walked outside Regis came up to me and told me to get other people on board..

two people he sends you to talk to are Diane and her duuuuuuude.. down in the Khan Drug lab.. down the long narrow canyon below papa.. a buncha trailers parked together..

maybe you can jumpstart the quest there?

what's your Speech at? I think i was 50 or 60 when I was there..

Anyways heres what i did.
I got the quest to either kill or befriend the Khans. I got to their camp and talk to Papa who doesn't want to help the NCR. Then I talk to Regis who says he is willing to help them. Then I talked to Karl who just said how he is an ambassador then i searched around the place and found the locker with the journal. So i go back to Papa and no new dialouge, I talked to Regis again no new dialouge, I talk to Karl and again no new dialouge... that's it nothing else i can do so i leave and every once in a while I come back to see if it's working but no nothing happens.

NOW it finally works.
I decided to go back one more time and try it and this time Regis actually came outside to talk to me.

ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?!
Back when the quest wasnt working for me I went exploring and found Mellisa and did her quest for her and now this quest is telling me to go talk to her but she isnt at the camp site anymore but the quest marker is still telling me to go there. This is by far the worst quest i have ever done on any game due to the fact that its SO GLITCHY.

You guys got farther then me, I talked to the second in command and it told me to go talk to moore at hoover dam and no new dialog choices pop up with her to talk about forming an alliance with the khans. I'm just so tired of it I'm just thinking that I must just got massacre them all.

I know there was a console command to force a certain conversation with ED-E is there something like that for Regis? I've been waiting for like 5 days outside the longhouse going in and out randomly and he just wont talk to me.

I'm having the same problem as Belv, and started a thread about it. I, too, am thinking about just committing whole-scale massacre of the Khans simply so I can continue the game.
