Everyone has they're opinion, like the saying goes *clears throat*

"One man's trash, is another man's treasure"

'nuff said

-The Waster

Well obviously, DeadlySin who created this thread, and others who agree think the same way. That's why I said that.

No, it's RPs that tend to stick around for long periods of time and clutter up the board. This boards purpose is fan fic's, you can make as many as you like.

The number of RPs and the number of fan fictions posted will not be restricted. This is the forum for them. However, it is worth noting the rules for this forum

1.) Please do not maintain more than one active RP thread, and one active story thread, at a time.
2.) There are no limits to the number of Fan Fiction threads you post, but we reserve the right to close any threads that we consider spam or unsuitable for this forum.
3.) We do not allow supplementary threads for RPs. If you want to maintain a list of characters or a related discussion you will have to set up your own forums or site.
4.) Keep the amount of OOC chat in RP and Story threads to a bare minimum. If we feel that an RP thread has gotten off topic or spammy it will be locked.
5.) This is a Teen Rated (13+) forum. So please only post fan fiction and roleplaying threads that are suitable for this rating.

Some of these rules have been applied a bit laxly but they will be tightened up. If you have a new fan fiction to post please report any prior ones already open to a moderator and ask for them to be closed, the same applies to RPs.

The RPs are for that, role playing your character and not for chatting about it. Whilst a small amount of OOC is permitted, indeed it is sometimes necessary, if it becomes excessive a moderator will have to intervene and delete it. You can use PM, IM or email for all the OOC chat.

Whilst I agree there are a lot of RPs posted, everyone has the choice as to whether to join, if you don't want to just don't post explaining why you are not going to take part, or being destructively critical. It is spammy and unnecessary. Those RPs that are going to be of interest to a group of players will go ahead whilst those which have little interest in them will quickly slip down the forum. Excessive bumping or pointless posting in the latter type will just get them closed.

Someone mentioned a forum specific moderator. That's not going to happen, it has been discussed by moderators and admins in the past but dismissed for various reasons. The member running the RP can control (as long as it is reasonable and sensible) the way the RP is run, if there are any problems occurring they should PM a moderator or send a report so it can be sorted.

If personal problems between members start to disrupt the RP then again please ask a moderator for advice and help to sort it out as soon as it is noticed. the longer it goes on the more likely it is going to effect that RP. In some cases a moderator will instruct a member to stay out of a particular RP if they are excessively disrupting it.

Moderators are here to help, we will do so in a fair and unbiased way. We just want to see you all posting in this section and enjoying your RPs and fan fictions. OK?
