Ok i must say that one of the chief reasons that i love this game is because of the information you can gather regarding the history of the empire.In Oblivion unfortunatelly you could learn things regarding the history of tamriel only through books.In SKyrim I've encountered NPCs that give many details about things of the past and these details connect very well previous Elder scroll games with this one.For example i just learned that the Red mountain erupted and that Dark elves were forced to abandon their homeland

Also great work on stressing the differences between the races.An Altmer or an Orc will explain to you why he is there because, yes, its unusual to encounter an Orc in Skyrim.Skyrim is far better in the lore section compared to Oblivion and perhaps even better than morrowind
