ED-E My Love quest did not trigger at start (Not in Quest wi

I've patched the game to the latest version (well, Steam did) and have been playing around for a while, mainly exploring around. I've finally decided to open up my quests bar and look which quests I had active, and to my surprise, despite talking to Nash guy in the shop, and having ED-E as my one and only companion, the quest is missing.

I have a feeling this might have been because I have fixed ED-E before 'liberating' the town, but I am pretty sure I have talked to Nash right after freeing the deputy, and he was supposed to trigger the quest start, but that never happened it seams.

Is there any help that someone can provide? Talking to the old guy Nash in his shop, has no real effect, as he only mentions "ED-E being brought in recently" and "Some people might be interested in the tech inside ED-E" or something along those lines.

bump?

Just wondering, is the quest supposed to appear when you speak to Nash, or does it trigger sometime later? From what I've read, it's supposed to trigger when you talk to Nash-guy the first time

Ok, this is confirmed....the quest does not trigger if you repair ED-E before talking to Nash in his shop/about the robot. I have just done a quick run (using Enable all Map Markers and God Mode cheats), and quickly ran through, freed Primm, and then asked Nash when he was in the shop, about the robot, then repaired ED-E, and the quest appeared

Funny thing is, the start of the quest just says to take ED-E to the scrapyard... it says nothing about repairing ED-E first.... Very odd, and very bugged

repair Ed-E, then go to the scrapyard, and his quest will start. You need to TALK to the lady there. If you have already done that, go to Camp Forlorn Hope and talk to the generals there, they also say the keywords that will start the quest.
