So been playing Skyrim for a few days now, running it on high and ultra qualities and having no problems, the odd glitch but hey, a game this big you can't really complain.
Anyways I get to Markarth and theres a problem, a load of the guards and strangers are walking around with these clothes that are just a strange purple colour, with no texture or image, its obvious what colours they should be but instead I find they are just the same simple purple. I go into the top part (near the excavation) and suddenly I'm finding some people have purple hair and I even saw a purple dog!
Whats going on?
Anybody else experienced this? is there a solution?

Have you been alt-tabbing out a lot? I got this once. Exiting to desktop and loading the game again fixed it.

Haven't ever come across this glitch, but it seems to me that it's something on your end since this is my first time hearing about it.

This. I got it once, but I just exited the game and reloaded it. Problem solved.

You're most likely missing a texture file somewhere. I know I'm probably just pointing out the obvious and I have no clue how to fix it :thumbsup:

What you're probably seeing is an un-normalised normal map texture, either because you're missing textures or there's just a bug. Try validating the game cache in steam.
