Mods you'd like to see

What I need to make this game playable:

A thousand more Spawn Points. I'm so sick of walking for an hour or more and nothing happens. I spent 50 bucks on a walking simulator. Great.
Something like MTC Wasteland Travellers.
Crowded Cities
A port of Markb50k's Wasteland Patrols
A random encounters mod
Fun quest mods
NV Interiors - ecstatic Chucksteel is making it
Some interesting settlements and buildings to explore
More recipes and food items. I'd buy Coleen a copy of the game for Fallout (NV) Food ;)

I'd love to see modders, or specifically modelers make some more scarves. Think about it, how usefull is a scarf in the wasteland? Very, it can be used as a face mask, for warmth if needed or just look good. Every post apocalyptic movie I see features at least one person wearing a scarf, so where are they? I want more scarves in Vegas, I can't believe they're not in the game already.

If they make scarves they MUST make a towel. After all, anyone can traverse the wasteland but how many people can you say, "That's one hoopy frood who really knows where his towel is" about?

I want something related to the Enclave or the remnants. They could be major or minor like the Brotherhood of Steel in the Mojave. Since no one knows what happen to Navarro I think that either the Enclave remained there or set up camp in the Mojave. And having some tie into the main quest perhaps? And have the Enclave take control; if you're like me and dislike the NCR, Caeser's Legion, the Followers of the Apocalypse, and Mr. House.

It would be fun to have some sort of Enclave remnant left and "pacify" the denizens of the Mojave Wasteland....

Actually, it's mentioned ingame that the NCR took Navarro. I'm pretty sure you find this out by talking to the Remnant vertibird pilot. Plus, that's pretty much the only way for the NCR to get Bear Force One, after all.

I've been thinking about a full on Enclave remnants faction, but we're talking about a huge amount of work here and I doubt I'd ever actually be able to do it without a really good modding team. I mean, at a minimum, you'd need a new Enclave bunker. Then you'd need a skilled writer to make sure they fit into the rest of New Vegas seamlessly; can't have moustache-twirling villains in NV, nor shiny white knights in power armor. Then you'd have to have a questline where you build their power in the wasteland; if you want them to provide a viable alternative to the big four, it'd have to be a long and involved questline. You'd have to explain where they came from, and why they didn't head East with Autumn.

And you'd have to integrate them with Gannon's companion quest in some way, because otherwise you have the immersion-breaking inability to tell him that there's an entire faction of Enclave remnants biding their time in one of many hidden bunkers.

There's a reason that big quest mods are a rarity; it's because they take a lot of work to make one.

Would take about 5 seconds to do in the GECK, shouldn't be an issue at all.

I would like character development and interactions mods. What I really loved about older CRPGs (yeah, ok, BG) is that I felt like I was really forming a relationship with my comrades. Throughout our adventure, they would comment on my actions or ask me questions to learn more about me. And okay, some romantic relationship mods would be awesome, too :P I'm a svcker for romance.

I really want something that functions like http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=9388

A mark/recall system. Preferably with a couple restrictions placed on it. No enemies nearby, and x amount of energy cells.

I havent finished the game yet so I didn't read the thread yet, but a Fallout New Vegas version of Fallout 3's 'wasteland patrols' that includes all of the factions and responds to your faction changes as to whether or not they are hostile or friendly to you. Also MTC Wasteland travelers wouldn't hurt either.

I'm a novice modder, but I'm going to attempt to build an Enclave Remnants bunker, populate it with Enclave soldiers, give them a presence in the area, and have at least a basic quest originating from there. I think it'll be a good way to learn my way around the GECK, and I do want to give the Enclave a bigger presence, so it kind of goes hand in hand quite well.

I would LOVE a mod that drastically increases the amount of random encounters. As mentioned, the wasteland feels virtually empty; I get the impression that any hostile NPCs you encounter in the wasteland were simply placed there and respawn, there does not seem to be any truly random encounters. I miss these, as they made walking around in Fo3 constantly interesting, you could never go on autopilot.

If any of these have already been done or there is a thread for them while they are in development, please point me in the right direction!

Portable bedroll and campfire
Extended crafting
More enemy spawn points
More variety of spawns (like Mart's Monster/Mutant Mod for Oblivion/FO3 respectively)
Dead bodies disappear after x number of days, or the option to 'bury' them (Freeside is starting to look like a mass grave)

I'd love to see the http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=6394 being made for Fallout New Vegas :)

For me that little housemod was perfect! ...maybe I should just try to make it myself some day :D
