Has the Feather spell for Alteration been removed?

Post » Sat Dec 03, 2011 1:10 pm

So is there actually a feather spell in the game like in Oblivion? I absolutely loved that spell, because it saved me many times when I looted a whole dungeon. I can't seem to get a scroll, nor a spell with Feather and now I'm wondering whether they've deleted the spell alltogether.

So is it deleted? And if so, what is the best way for a pure mage to (temporarily) increase your carrying weight by at least 30? I know that Fortify Stamina potions don't help enough so I need another way...

Yes, it is. So many uneccessary removals in this game :shakehead: You occasionally do come across "Potions of Strength" that do the same thing, though, and i'd imagine you can make your own with Alchemy. Also there are enchanted items that increase carry weight.

I'm wondering the same thing tough I have found potions that increase carrying weight by like 50 for 300 secs and after joining the theives guild they give you a piece of armor that ups it by like 20 or 30 so I carry that around with me too just incase I go over a few lbs.

Just level up your pickpocketing to 50 from trainers and put into the perk that gives you 100 lbs of extra carry wieght.
Kinda dumb that it's in the pickpocket tree but definatley worth it. I never pickpocket and still get that perk on all my characters.

I haven't found any piece of armor with that enchantment yet to disenchant it. Is there a known location for a piece of armor in Skyrim that has this enchantment? Or is it completely random?

I honstely don't see why they would remove Feather from the game...

There is one of those standing stone bonus-power things called "The Steed" that increases your carry weight by 100 and makes your armor not weigh you down. When I saw that, I thought "must find now!" and I just happened to run across it while exploring. Also, increasing your stamina when you level up increases your carry weight - always good to have lots of stamina.

Message me if you want the location of stone - I won't say it here for spoilers and stuff. I suppose you could also just wiki it and find it that way too if you're interested.

I started seeing some elven boots with + weight on them as I got up in higher levels. They are there, but I think it's just something that shows up at vendors as you level.

That said, I'm sure there are a few static world drops, but I don't know where they are.
