When i was exploring the wastes today i found a shed to the southwest of dunwitch with skelletons on a madrass.
Then suddently a guy comes up & robs me.
I was like wth are you robbing me? You don't even have shots for you're sawned of shotgun.
Has this happend to any of you?

Yep. I usually kill him because I want his armor or just becuz he pissed me off by scaring the crap out of me.

Call his bluff (if you have decent perception)... he's a big wimp.

Or intelligence.

And poor Mel is not very bright. After I called his bluff once, he ran right into a bunch of raiders who promptly killed him. I had to reload several times to save him.

I killed him you no why? Becouse I AM THE LAW!!!

I've only seen Mel once outta hundreds of chars and i was'nt even playing at the time, my older brother had come over and wanted to play for a bit so i let him use my level 19 char and in the 2 hours he played he came across 4-5 random encounters (including Mel) and then he stumbled across the crashed space ship, but in the time it took me to get to level 19 i had only seen 1 or 2 encounters wth is with that.

I try to avoid killing him because he's so darn pathetic. I wish there was a mod you could use to humiliate guys like him in various ways. Kind of like in "Bully" where you could finish off an enemy by giving him an Indian burn or slap him across the face.

I usually pick the option that goes something like, "Oh good I haven't killed anyone all day. Come on, then." He then just runs away. I don't kill him, not really worth it. Something else will, later

I've only run into him on my 2nd playthrough.

I'm on my 4th now and I've yet to bump into him again.

What Mel lacks in the brains department, he doesn't make up for in anything else. Guy's an insult; he tried to rob me and my heavily loaded team with an unloaded Sawed Off Shotgun... I enjoyed executing him.

HAHAHA... We have alot in common in the fallout world. Aww yes. :laugh:

Just ran across Mel, and his pathetic attempt to rob me and stammering his threat, and when told to run away, he whimpered and said he had no ammo in his gun anyway, so,
I shot his head off his body :flamethrower:

What a prat.

Aww, I kind of like Mel, and the loony dude Lugnut who accosts you for the Naughty Nightwear, too.

They're both pretty hilarious, and both totally made me jump the first time I saw them-- I mean, who runs right up to you and starts making demands instead of shooting at you?

I liked Lug-Nut though.

i let him live then a weak later i found him curled up beside a wall so i shot him in the head took his weapon and used it to repair mine :/ and then sold it
