Chest In Breezehome

Post » Sat Dec 03, 2011 11:11 am

I mentioned this yesterday so i'm hoping for a bit of feedback today:

In my home in Whiterun, the main chest in the bedroom doesn't categorise items that i have so that it is instead, just one immensly long list of stuff and finding what i want to take out is a chore! Am i the only one that finds this annoying? Is it like this in every home? Should i store my items someplace else? What do you guys think?

I wish it organized them, but that's how containers work. Only the player inventory organizes.

I have been storing different types of items at different places so this doesn't bother me all that much. I have all my books (1 of each i have found so far) in 1 chest (book cases don't hold enough and not enough cases to display em all so a single chest is easier), most of my named weapons on racks/plaques with the spares once the spots are filled i put in a chest, all my armor sets on the armor stands (you can store more than just the set being displayed but sometimes its a pain getting the set you want displayed to display), and will put ingredients and whatnot in those apothecary bag things once i stop eating em all to find all their effects.

This is what I do and it works pretty well.. I use the big Chest in the bedroom for armor, weapons not on racks, etc.. the night stand for notes I don't need to carry, the chest on top of the book shelf in the alchemy room for ingredients, etc... works pretty well, and feels organized, but it is a lot of running around the house when come off a quest and want to organize your stuff...
