pilgrams grace spell or power

I have completed the pilgrimage twice and it's still not in my inventory. Although I'm already level 45 I'd like to have it because it fortifies several atributes. Is there something I'm forgetting to do ?

If you have KOTN installed, you have to maintain zero infamy while doing the pilgrimage. If you have infamy, you have to do the whole pilgrimage to clear it, and then do the pilgrimage a second time, while gaining no infamy, to get the power.

I've got another question, related to this power that is received.
I walked the Pilgrim's Way, without actually knowing it and received the Power. Much, much later, I entered the Shivering Isles, and during the Battle of Brellach, picked up two murders. But no infamy. Then, while resting in my home in Bravil, I was visited by Lucien. I put him down like the dog he is. Third murder... and still no infamy. Fame is about 90. What gives?

IIRC you only get infamy from completing "infamous" quests. Murdering every non-essential NPC won't budge it by one!

Thanks for the reply. That's lame. You should get one point per murder. The two murders I had were accidental, heat of battle and all that. Lucien was not.

For what it's worth... A black-clad stranger sneaks into your room when you're sleeping, and tries to enlist you in a murder-for-hire gang. It's a bit of a stretch to call it "murder" when the just-awakened person takes up arms against the intruder.

Given the game engine's inability to distinguish real intentional murder from "friendly fire" accidents, it would be a real game-breaker if we were awarded infamy points for non-quest-related killings.
