Every NPC keeps commenting to my character that I look sick...

How do I "fix" this? I've slept a few times, but it persists...

Thoughts?

It means you have a disease. Try praying at a shrine.

Potion of Cure Disease.

Check out the Active Effects section under Magic in the menu. You can see what buffs and debuffs you have there. :P

You have a disease, like herpes Ataxia or Bone-Break Fever. Take a "Cure Disease" potion. You will proceed to not be bothered, and likely regenerate Stamina and/or health faster as well.

EDIT: Aaaand... Ninja'd. Twice. Oh, well, glad to help a bro (sis?) out.

If you have a disease, you can either pray at a shrine or drink a potion to get rid of the disease. Sleeping wont get rid of it :)

Ninja'd 3 times xD

its worth noting that the alchemist in whiterun will always say you look sick to get you to buy her stuff. it took me a stupidly long amount of time before i realized that my ataxia did not glitch and effect me permanently :shakehead: .

Be careful it's not the Vampire disease, pretty soon you will be a Vampire and your gamesave will be ruined. It almost happened to me, but I fortunitly had a previous game save only a couple hours behind when I turned into a Vampire. Reloaded it and made a beeline for a shrine before I turned into a Vampire. I learned the hard way in Oblivion not to turn into one unless you WANT to play as one, and I surely don't.

Uhh... disease?

How does that happen? Did I come in contact with something?

Just trying to avoid it in the future...

I've never played an ES game, so my noobishness is showing...

"Diseases are contracted when fighting specifc creatures and sometimes beggars and even zombies that you summon yourself if you get into a fight."

If you can, it's always good to have a few Potions of cure disease on you.
