I found out that I accused the wrong person on Blood on the Ice (Found out via a wiki article) and since my character is sort of supposed to be diligent and smart about those things, I'd like to restart that quest entirely so that I can accuse the correct person, but the quest is already labeled as "Complete" and the NPC I accused is in Windhelm's jail. Is there a command to reset the quest from the beginning, and if so, would there be any complications with the NPCs involved?

I do know the quest ID, too.

I should also mention that I can't load a save that I had before I finished the quest because I am far past that quest at this point. Hours, even.

I think it would be something along the lines of 'Set stage' and you would need to find the quest ID and then what numbers the quest stages are at. Quite hard without a construction set.

I did try the 'setstage' command, and I did find the quest ID via a wiki article, and just made the stage '1.' But the command didn't do anything. I assume that's because it only works for active quests, not ones that have been completed.

same, i have the quests "speak to verulus in hallf of dead" and "bountry from skald" something after i finished both and i cant get rid of them

Come on, surely someone knows if a start/reset quest command exists.
