Is it as good as part 1? No. But I don't see why "Slightly not as good as part 1" translates to "Worst game evar" to 90% of the other people on here >_<

The game is actually good, I don't feel so limited as some people say and I'm having a good time playing it.

The heavy problems in multiplayer (I wasn't able to login with my default account since open beta) dropped the rating from a possible 9/10.

I gave it an 8. It's really an enjoyable game but the PC version still needs some work.

M for Manly. It will get Maximum Awesome once all the patches are fixed. But really, patch 1.2 brought this game from a 8/10 to a 9/10 for me (really, it was a 8.8 to a 9.1 but yeah lol). Patch 1.3, DX11, and sandbox editor 3 along with advanced options will make this game MAXIMUM AWESOME.

But until that happens, I will have to continue to support Crytek and activate MAXIMUM PATIENCE.

Learn how CryEngine 3 works. If you need help researching I heard about this great thing to help you; it's called Google. I mean I just discovered it recently it's quite amazing on what it can do you know. Some good stuff.

When you learn how the CryEngine 3 works and how Crysis 2 was made on it, then you'll see it's NOT a port (funny thing is console gamers also need to know this information because some of them think Crysis 2 is a badly ported PC game LOL). Press Start to Begin is overexaggerhated, Crysis 2 DX9 is the best looking DX9 game IMO, and DX11 is confirmed to be coming, and low res textures are the only problem (but do note, consoles have even LOWER res textures AND there are some high textures here or there on PC).

9/10 Crysis 2 is the best fps experience out to date and it has very impressive graphics. Cryengine 3 is an extremely fast engine. No doubt it will be 10/10 after all the patches. Great job crytek!

i dont count bugs. the game has serious bugs.

MP, some players can't log in.
MP, some players can log in but they disconnected.
MP, some items dont saved.
SP/MP, they dont have advanced graphic options
MP, random serial numbers.
MP, no anti cheat system - or it dont work good.
SP/MP, missing DX10/DX11.
