Hi Everyone,

So I just completed the "One for my baby" side quest in Novac by finding the Bill and killing the hotel owner Jeannie Crawford. I read somewhere that you can pick up a key to one of the motel rooms that is locked by asking the guy in the Dino gift shop. After I picked up Boone as a companion I tried unsuccessfully to get the key of the guy. There was a new talk option where i say Jeannie sent me and get some discount and then i tell him I killed her and heaps of options come up. I tried all the options but he still does not give me the key. Was wondering if I have done something wrong in the quest or if theres something I am yet to do to get this key. Was hoping to use this motel room as a safe house for extra gear.

Sorry guys just found out what i have to do. For those of you who are wondering you have to become liked by the town in order to receive the key from the Dino gift shop guy. This can be achieved easily by doing the midnight ranch attack side quests or other quests in town. After you become liked go talk to the guy in the Dino gift shop daytime and he will give you the key to the first room on the left. It's a great place to regain health and store extra gear.
