My character uses Destruction + One Handed Sword as his main combat style, but recently I've realised that Destruction becomes obsolete at higher levels. Mods will not be an option because I play on the Xbox 360.

I am wondering whether I should stay with this combat style or switch to a sword and shield character (I have only 2 points in Destruction so it might be negligible) or create a new character using two-handed weapons. Please give your opinions.

Dual welding seems pretty effective so far.

I think dual wielding could be a very effective DPS option, but personally I don't like dual wielding even in Dragon Age or other games that allowed dual wielding.
