Two questions:

1. How do I get the skyforge steel sword? I don't mean the Nord hero sword, but the one called just skyforge steel sword. The guy there sells me steel swords but their just called steel swords like everywhere else.

2. The silver swords. Why can't i make them better in a forge like all other weapons? I read in one loading screen that ALL weapons can be made better no matter what they are made of...

You can choose a skyforge steel weapon when you get initiated into the companions.

1. I got the one Farkas dropped during a "Proving Honor" quest.
2. They are specialised anti-undead weapons, wouldn't be good for ballance if you could use them against everything else, I guess. Just keep it as a secondary blade for special occasions.

How in the world is this a spoiler? no quests, no details just the names of two types of sword. One with a name that doesn't say anything about what its like. The other a type of sword thats standard for the elder scrolls...
