…Actually the Bikini Islands might work. The US military did a lot if testing there early in the cold war, so it would be a little deferent, but still fit right in to the FO world.

They show a lot about it in a pretty famous documentary about that period called “Atomic Cafe” which the folks who made Fallout obviously watched.

You should check it out, you won’t really understand FO world unless you watch this… http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RHGa9nUbDww

new york would have been my first choice above all else if I made Fallout 3.

There really should have been a less linear approach to the game. I mean there are so many buildings and houses that are boarded up in fallout 3 and new vegas that it really makes you feel like you are on a linear path regardless of the huge plateau wasteland//desert. I mean who cares about the desert. I wanted to explore every house and every building that I could legitimately get in. I wanted to rip boards off of windows and kick doors in and stuff. I got none of that in F03 and I was expecting it to be in FnV considering its supposed to be the next-gen Fo3 but it wasn't. It was just the same thing. Anyway I'm rambling now.

I would do new york for the next fallout, and I would make it completely wide open and explorable with no boarded up windows or anything like that. I would also add climbing in the game and destructible surroundings. Want to get in a door? Then blow it open with a shotty. Want to get in a safe, then lockpick that, not a creaky wooden door.

I chose New York and Europe as Europe might not be as devistated as the rest of the world as they werre not part of the direct war with China. I chose New York because the Landscape would be different and If The Chinese hit New York a lot it could add a very fun large ruin type city to explore.

I voted for North America and Canada. Want to see Canada even if it was obtained by United States and made into a state.

Lore being Resource Wars, Anchorage Reclamation and annexed as a state.

I would love to see a Fallout set in Europe, but to be honest, the only way I could see that working would be if it was set in Great-Britain. Other options would be either Canada or Mexico. Though from what I can tell from the news, large parts of Mexico are sadly already at the mercy of the sort of thugs that would not be out of place in any post-apocalyptic raider tribe.

Sorry guys, we do have an "Official" topic going here about the next location for a Fallout game. After talking with the other Mods, we've decided to keep ours going. Please feel free to carry this conversation over to the new thread, http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1136124-official-fallout-4-location-suggestions-2/.
