Judging from the 512mb pc2700 low grade :P But yeah we cant really help without a CPU/GPU

512 MB RAM? Damn. I think I tried running it with that when it first came out. It was a spooling nightmare, endlessing unloading and loading files.

IIRC these used PIII integrated chipsets clocked at 1ghz. Problem #1.

Radeon M6 series gpu. Maybe 16mb at best. Problem #2.

I'm not sure what you would be able to upgrade (memory card at best), or if it would even be worth the trouble. Compaq notebooks were in no way designed for gaming. Maybe Angry Birds, but not Oblivion.

You could post dxdiag results to alleviate any guess work on our part though.

Hopefully that "cd-rom drive" reads DVDs, or you're out of luck.
