Heartbroken </3

Post » Mon Dec 05, 2011 8:05 pm

Today is Sunday, on Tuesday we have our D.C. trip.

I'm heartbroken, because I was totally gonna take pictures of the monuments and compare them to the Fallout 3 landmarks.

But, alas. I'm at risk if I go. At risk from myself, long story. But if I hurt myself on the trip its the schools fault.

Ohh well, I just felt like sharing. Has anyone else wanted to do this?

Regards, Deagonx

You might want to share the long story cause otherwise this thread doesn't make much sense or serve much purpose.

Since I've played Fallout 3 and went to the Mall it has too been a dream of mine to see all of the sites before the bombs fall ;-; I need to make my supermutant suit first. :cryvaultboy:

Also, I'm very very sorry for your loss...SUE THE PANTS OFF OF YOUR SCHOOL DISTRICT! Make them pay for an all expenses paid trip for yourself and your family!

Too bad about missing your trip.

Freddo already posted the comparison site. I remember seeing that when the game was released.

There are other comparisons too. For example the Stateman Hotel is based on the Willard hotel:

Since I live in the DC area, it's kind of interesting how the locations and architecture is portrayed in the game. In some ways the general architecture is very similar (like the metro stations) and in some ways similar but different - like the building look almost the same, but in game they have those weird statues.

Not as many Mutants and Feral Ghouls in real life DC.

Your original idea isn't so original.
