Ok for a few days now (real world) I have had this light blue slightly glowing bolt sticking out of the back of my head. It is about (game world size) two feet long. It does not interfere with anything in game, but I really want it gone.

How do I clear it out, please.

Same thing happened to me. Had an arrow stuck in my shoulder, for the longest time, and then it just dissipated. Same thing with a cold bolt that went thru my chest and out of my butt, that was hilarious. That one went away a bit faster.

Get shot by something. Arrow, another cold bolt, anything. It usually replaces what ever was stuck in you and then disappears after a few seconds. I had two arrows stuck in my butt for the longest time until I got shot by a bandit. They disappeared and I've never had the problem again. I think it's a temporary glitch in the game.

Not too sure, but one time (real life) a frost dragon frosted me and I was covered in ice which I've never seen happen before. I could still move and do everything, but If i went into third person I was covered in ice. I just wish the game world was more realistic. In real life all my injuries, wounds, and random arrows disappear. Oh well, can't have everything.

I had an arrow sticking out from what is basically a movie shot to the head (Y'know, directly in the middle of your forehead, just above the nose), it was there for like 3 days but disappeared eventually.

you can go into the console menu by typing ~ and type in sixchange. That will change your character's six and any strange arrows or anomalies on your character will go away. You can then type sixchange again to get back to your original character.

I had Lydia wandering around with a cold bolt in her leg. Seemed to disappear eventually.

Samething happened to me...it disappaered after i did one of the following things,but can't remember what...

1.Unequip/equip all apparel.
2.Use Fire shout/fire magic
3.Wait in game 4-5 days.
4.sleep ...

Happened to me too. Had a MASSIVE ice spike coming out of my back. It got stretched out and looked absolutely ridiculous. Didnt have and previous saves, and reloading or dieing didnt do anything. Eventually after some hours of game time it disappeared.

My character has had an arrow stuck in him all day.

The freaky thing is that he is now pulling it out to do finishing moves(ever seen a dragon stabbed repeatedly in the face with an arrow!)so i am assuming that he is then rejamming that arrow back into his mace instead of leaving it out.The arrow is sticking straight out from the bottom of the mace shaft,don't ask me how that one happened.

Basically, you have to do something to reset the character model. Getting hit by an arrow does that, sometimes... not for sure how often. Not every arrow will work. Changing six or race works good too, but you have to have access to the console. Changing into werewolf form works, I've checked. I don't know if any of the spell/shouts work, but I suspect ethereal form might.
