I find that the UI for the game is so fitted for consoles, that in fact, i was almost considering buying it on my console, but I went for PC cause of the textures and all. The UI is so fitted for consoles, thats its hard to navigate on PC, one of the most major problems I've had is when i read a book or note, and close it, and try to scroll down to another one, I click, and it opens the one I was on before. I later realized this was because it was stuck selected on the one I was before. This is so common for me that it actually happens every time i open a book, I find myself having to close my inventory and reopen (which is annoying for me since I tend to click on the wrong menu XD), So I'm hoping bethesda will come up with a custom UI for PC, and if not, I will long await the day when someone comes up with a custom UI mod that actually looks decent.

Some guys are working on UI′s for the PC, it should be only a matter of time to get them!

I′m not an expert, but it seems to be a little bit difficult to create it and get it to work ingame (see the UI-Posts in the modding thread), but I think and hope that these problems will be solved as soon as possible.

Bethesda don′t spent any time for changes for the PC-Version, the game is great, but shame on them at this point...

Considering at LEAST 1/3 of sales are PC I'm hoping they give us some love next game.

Regardless, mods are coming. The UI will be PC worthy soon!

We have one of these threads every hour to two hours now. Give it a rest mods will be coming to satisfy then intense amount of whining.

Once the next gen consoles come out, PC gaming will officially be dead. The reason us PC gamers enjoy a lot of the games we do now(yes that includes skyrim) Is because of the lucrative console market.
