Needing help as I cannot get past the 'Play Options Data Files' etc loading screen. When I click 'play' the screen goes away and then the comes back with the same options in a never ending cycle.
Some times it stated it will check my system and recommends Ultra but still doesn't work. I've tried a few different options and tips, even using ones for windows 7 (I have Vista), patched the game to 1.7, patched all my drivers yet it still cannot get it to load. The game is a CD version GOYE. Please help as I'm pulling my hair out.

I assume you're not using any mods or anything like that?

No mods. Tried reinstalling with just the normal version without the 2nd CD with DLC, tried starting it before patching it to 1.7 and after with a clean boot still no luck.
