Depths of Fort Hawkstar

I am re-booting this. If you were in the last time and want back, I'll let you in. Otherwise, I need 5 new people!
Okay. I'm creating a Dungeon crawl-type RP for this forum, and will be the GM for four or five players.

I don't want to give too much of what story is here, other than everyone's character has a quest that's drawn them to the Dungeons under Fort Hawkstar in the Kingdom of Daggerfall, in the year 4e179 (Late enough that the events of the past games are irrelevant, but not yet time for the Last Dhovakiin to begin his/her killing spree)

Kind of a "Elder Scrolls meets Diablo/Torchlight/Nethack/Rogue/Hack-Slash-Crawl" thing. Or, you could say it's in the style of The Elder Scrolls Legends: Battlespire. *teaser/spoiler alert!

As such, I'm establishing some rules and expectations that are somewhat contrary to the usual conventions of these forums:
1.) I control all non-player characters, including monsters.
3.) During combat encounters, I'm establishing an action economy: You can react to the previous posts, and take one "action", defined as what you can perform in ~5 seconds.
4.) Due to limited feedback and my control over the environment and ALL NPCs and monsters, broad posts meant to be "interpreted" instead of "read" are acceptable.
5.) I intend to post as often as possible to keep things moving. While there's no set "Turn Order", I don't want people waiting to post if they have enough they can work with to get a post of their own, even if it's just a few sentences. I'll post an OOC comment if I need to hold someone back. I'm expecting this RP to alternate between hours of inactivity with rapid sequences of posts, as opposed to slow and steady post rate. Hopefully, with the small number of players and little content actually required for the posts keeps this thread moving fast, fun, and furious.

This is not a story of how mild-mannered underwater basket weavers become unlikely heroes against a dark threat, nor established legends adding yet another accomplishment to their names: This is about low-leveled adventurers hacking, slashing, crawling, and looting their way to fame and fortune.

Character Sheet Notes:

Notable Attributes (Optional): If you feel like describing your abilities in terms of attributes in addition to or instead of skills.
Character Description: (Can be paragraphs or specific-trait bullet-points such as height, eye color, hair style/color, skin tone, build, etc.) Not the most important aspect of your character.

The Depths of Fort Hawkstar
Accepting Character Sheets

The small town of Falcon's Peak. It is the third day of Frostfall, and while snowfall gently fills the afternoon sky, the sunshine above fills the world with. Despite the town's name, it's actually in a small "valley" between Daggerfall's craggy hills, with only one road in from the south. An overlook at the entrance of the valley gives a bright view of the entire town. Clusters of houses and businesses are spread haphazardly around the town, and while the distance is still too great to make out distinct detail, the landmarks are still clearly visible: The imposing Fighter's Guild keep, surrounded by a small moat, dominates the northwestern end of the small town, while the sprawling halls of the Mages guild help mark the north-western end. The town is built around a temple to Kynareth, which sported a grassy grove buffering the seat of the Goddess of Nature's from the busy buildings surrounding it. The edges of the town, especially the south end, are derilect and abandoned, but life still goes on as cheerful as ever in the busy middle of the town.

On the northern edge stood a building that was clearly designed by politicians: hastily constructed, but trying to look permanent, the architecture and decoration sporting the tragic aftermath of a battle between a desire to look regally opulant and pragmatically thrifty. The signs scattered throughout the town's streets indicate a handful of pawn shops, taverns, general stores, and a Bank of Daggerfall, though Falcon's Peak also manages to boast a pair of dedicated weapon and armor smiths, and an alchemical specialist.

The ominously looming Fort Hawkstar, dominates the northern skyline... Even after untold centuries, its walls still stand, with faded banners wavering in the wind, beckoning to would-be adventurers with the riches that lie beneath.[s] It's dangerous to go alone. Gather your party and venture forth![s]

Okay, hopefully to prevent the crash of the last attempt at this RP, please do not head directly to the tavern to meet up. I'd much rather you explore the town, meet the NPCs that will be important to your success on this endeavor, or even check out the dungeon early before forming the party.
