Help..F3 running too fast.

Post » Tue Dec 06, 2011 10:30 am

Ok I this may not sound bad, but it is. My old ATI video card gave up the ghost and needed to be replaced. Save for a few paychecks and got a Geforce GTX 560 Ti. Great card BTW. Any how, now F3 runs too fast. Everything moves way too quickly. Anyone have any ideas? All the settings are maxed out. F3 is my favorite game. I'm always have a game going. Can anyone please help?

Have you refreshed your .ini file after the graphics card change. Should do that so the .ini file is generated according to your current hardware. Your .ini file can be found in your My Documents\My Games\Fallout3 folder....it is the configuration settings file named FALLOUT.

Delete it...or rename it if you have changes in there and need a reference to do the changes again. Refire up the game, and a new one will get generated. See if that helps.
