I've been playing F3 goty for a while now without any problems, but now I can't play for 2 minutes without it crashing to desktop. I have made no hardware or software changes since the problem started. I have exhausted all the popular fixes with no changes in the problem at all. After updating my graphics driver there was still no difference. Every time I travel or even start walking to a new location it crashes, but staying in the same zone ( if it doesn't happen to crash) it continues to play, up until I try to leave and *CRASH*. The crashing is related to saving and loading the game, so simply walking to a destination is a guaranteed crash outside or in, my hard drive has no problems with any other program. Why a game would suddenly have major problems with this is something I've never seen in a game.
