I think they are silent on this issue because it cannot be fixed. On PC, Bethesda can hide behind the vastly varied configurations of each player's computer system as an excuse for the game's crashing. But what can be said for PS3 and 360?
Can this aspect of the game actually be fixed in a patch, or is this the nature of the game engine and cannot be overcome?
MY PREDICTION: The next patch will probably be that last patch for the base game, all patches afterward will be for DLC. The patch will fix the save file corruption glitch, Strip glitch, many broken quests/dialog bugs, game exploits, combat bugs, and companion bugs. But the game will continue to randomly freeze.
There are probably a lot of people who would say that my prediction would be great, and that they could live with the occasional freeze, or freeze every half hour for some. But I want to know why a top tier professional game company cannot produce a game without having to make the players live with it crashing every time they play it.
