1) Is there a greater chance for me to be detected if I'm using a shield? I'm right now trying to figure out if I should go Dual Wield or Shield + 1H on my ''Assassin'' type character.

2) Can I still do backstab from the sneak perks if using a Shield + 1H? Or does those perks only apply if I'm dual wielding or just using one 1H?
