I play on the 360, and I haven't just popped the Oblivion disc back in yet, but wasn't there a sun and didn't it rise and set?
Maybe I'm crazy... Fallout:NV didn't have them. Skyrim seems to have the lightening period of a sunrise, but the ruddy coloring on the horizon seems to cover the entire horizon and the during sunrise seems to be in the center of the sky, right above me. I stood on Azura's mountain and waited or the sun to rise, and never saw it.

So, did it rise in Oblivion (without mods) And am I missing something, perhaps about Nirn?

Oblivion has horizon to horizon Sun and Moon raise and sets - Everyone of them beautiful!

So there was no individual sun to watch?
