When do you think these "Final touches" will be done

Just wondering how long I have to wait for them to fix this game.

Hopefully soonish, but preferably they take enough time to ensue that the patch doesn't cause as many if not more problems than it fixes.

^^^^^ This.

I'd rather they take the extra time to make sure that the patch doesn't break something else. (Like the PC patch that made creatures essential. Though to Obsidians credit they got the hotfix out quickly)

I believe they will release a patch until christmas, but it will be one of many. Fallout NV won't be fixed by just one patch. Maybe it will never be integrally fixed. I hope I'm wrong, but still...

I think the patch will be released a few days ahead of or on the same day as the DLC. I've seen that kind of phenomenon for some other games, for example, Magic The Gathering: Duels of The Planeswalkers or even Battlefield Bad Company 2.

The update is still in the final stages for all three platforms.

Sorry, I don't have an exact date on when it will be available -- but when we know, we'll share news and let you know what it covers.

Thanks for your patience.

That pretty much answers it and links the thread where this is being discussed. There are also several threads in the Fallout:NV general discussion section where this belongs. We don't need more than one thread for this question and discussion.
