I created a new Tamriel Map.

Hope you like it, the base is by M.Ojap but then I changed all of the borders, political allegiances, the destruction of Red Mountain and the keys and information.

It may look slightly un-refined, but it's the best I can do for now, I'll update and polish it later on probably.

Edit: It's now correct according to the Lore on UESP.

Considering you did that whole thing yourself, looks good to me. I'd suggest that you increase the image size so everyone can zoom in.

Looks great, but why do you have Elsweyr and Valenwood with the Empire? Those are definitely Thalmor provinces.

Well, technically Elsweyr is a Thalmor "client state" split into two kingdoms, Anequina and Pelletine.

Could anybody post a list of books that document the current political situation in Tamriel?

Morrowind is also listed as part of the Empire in http://www.imperial-library.info/content/skyrim-concises-account-great-war-between-empire-and-aldmeri-dominion (the main text on the topic). There's also a bunch of cities that no longer exist, due to you having used an old map as a base. Did you get permission from the original author to edit his map, btw? Color coding it in a gradient to show politics is a good idea, but maybe split it regionally rather than provincially for more accuracy?

Here's http://img207.imageshack.us/img207/5503/tamriel4e.jpg of the map. Slightly different in focus.
