With age comes wisdom, so my advise: install Morrowind Graphic extender (MGE) + BetterBodies or similar + Beryl_s_Head_Replace or similar + mvp or similar.
These mods don't change ANYTHING in game play. They are just gracefully 'face lifting' an old game to a very acceptable level.
Warning: Don't overdo it with MGE. Keep your view distance to 6 cells, not the default 13 cells (or Morrowind will look smaller then Oblivion)
