I was on a quest out in the middle of nowhere riding Shadowmere , and I saw this random other horse... I got on the random horse and rode it about 10 feet up the hill then got off and continued my path on foot

Then every time I traveled after that the random horse was the one with me instead of Shadowmere , so I tried killing my new random horse.... and Shadowmere didn't return

Then I tried to go back to the place I left Shadowmere and searched for like half an hour and couldn't find him............

In addition to that , the horse I once paid 1000G for didn't return either , so it seems the game acts like whatever horse you sat on last is your only horse and your others go to the void to serve sithis forever D: bliviongate:

Is there ANY way to get my evil horse back? D:
(Without restarting obviously , I'm not doing that)
(PS3 , so I can't console command him back or anything either)

Nevermind , I retraced my steps from a different direction and found him sitting exactly where I left him :celebration:

If bethesda could patch a horse whistle / spell call ala red dead that would be amazing. I hate going into dungeons and not having my horse waiting for me on the otherside. I have to fast travel to where I'm standing to get ky horse back.

I had the same problem. After searching on the net I came across the cheat code of salvation: player.placeatme 0009CCD7
Shadowmere with spawn next to you in full health and ready to go.

Shadowmere's disappearance must be a bug so if you are a PC user just use this cheat until Bethesta releases a patch to fix the bugs, as i hope they will. =P

If u use XBox or PS3 the best solution I've found is to retrace your steps and maybe you'll find her where you left her. GL
