My next character is going to be unarmed and I was just wondering if unarmed is considered one handed? So if i put perks in the one handed tree it counts as unarmed?

i never tried to see what skill it applies to. i want a one handed khajiit character.

anyone know the answer to OP's question?

They have a perk in heavy armor where "Unarmed attacks with heavy armor gauntlets do their armor rating in extra damage." But other than that I was curious as to if I get like "One handed weapons do more damage" in one handed if that effected it.

i tried to fight with some villagers unarmed but i didn't see what skill it leveled
