Post » Tue Dec 06, 2011 9:16 am

Are werewolves weak when they get attacked? i got attack by bandits while in that form and they killed me easy.
also when i attack enemies they don't do much damage, is that normal as well?

Thank you!

werewolves are anything but weak...I've slapped someone and sent them flying...are you using your howls?? The default one causes fear which makes everyone run away from you. Very easy to pick them off 1 by 1

werewolves are definitely not weak
thats the form of choice for me when going up against the masked priests
those dudes pack a serious punch but as a werewolf the fights pretty even unlike if im in human form

I've been having trouble playing well as a werewolf, but I'm also a mage spec, so very few times have I increased Health when leveling up. Anyone know if health carries over?

There's a trick to being a warewolf in group enemy situations and that's judicious use of your roar. They crap themselves and run away (as you would if a 9 foot tall Warewolf was running at you at high speed!) making it easier to chase them down one at a time. Just be sure to change to beast form away from them otherwise you'll get killed before the cut scene ends. Just be aware the roar only works on standard enemies, not high level ones like Giants or Dragons.

The problem with the beast form is that while you have around double health, you have no armour, so you take a lot more damage than if you were human; this makes using your roar incredibly important. If you roar at groups of human enemies they basically become chew toys for you to dispose of at your leisure. As long as you don't get hacked to death while transforming, you should never lose a confrontation against humans in your wolf form.

That being said, for anyone whom has unlocked the different roars, is there any way to choose between them in wolf form, or do the new roars simply replace the old ones?

Having a high 1 handed skill helps with your damage.

^This. If you use 2handed weapons you won't do as much damage. Tbh that's the main reason I focus on Dual Wield rather than 2h weaponry; I'm trying to simply level up my 2h skill in my spare time because I miss being able to block and love the fact 2 handers can stagger people by hitting their shields.
