Hi,

The companion quest where Veronica must talk to the elder doesn't work.When i go to the BOS bunker where they must talk to eachother, they just stand there. Does anyone know a fix for this ?

Try talking to her first. I'll bet if you move away from the elder, as if to leave, she will initiate conversation. She's in a dilemma whether to stay or leave, so she needs to talk. Women!

Tried everything so far even that and it did not work.

And when I enter the bunker the Elder is standing in the main hall (place where you get free energy ammo out of the footlocker in the corner) . The quest marker points right at him, but the conversation does not want to start between them. Then I thought what if I go to where the elder sits (level 2 of the bunker). She then walks up to the platform and stands there, unresponsive as if she is talking to someone , but no voice etc and after a while she starts following me again, but nonthing has changed. Whats going on ?! Need advice on how to fix this please!


Note : I have completed all the BOS quests.

Walk up to the Elder so you are right in front or just to the side of the desk. When I just walked in and stood there, nothing happened until I got close to the Elder

He does not sit there, he is standing in the main entrance where you get the free energy ammo out of the footlocker. The seat is empty

Review the conversations with the elder (have them again). Could be you did something to stop progress. I never saw the elder there. Did you side against him or anything?

That whole sequence went fine for me. There was one time when I stood in front of the elder when he was seated, that nothing happened until I moved to the side so Veronica could approach him. Beats me why he's by the locker.

Sure the arrow isn't referencing another floor and someone else?

Leave the Bunker, wait 73 game hours, then go back and see if he is at the desk. This will clear the scripts that are putting him somewhere else. Also, check the Journal, maybe you are going back to see him before you do something else.

Just for grins, before you leave and come back, walk up to his desk like you would talk to him if he was there so that Veronica follows up to the indicator that tells her to talk to the guy.

I did what you said and i waited for 73 hours did not change anything. Is there maybe some console command , but i actualy still wanna get achievements from steam. Sigh..

You don't need a fix. You need to figure out the quest and where you are, IMO.

It doesn't work.Tried everything possible. Think its a script bug..

Is there maybe a console command i can use to reset scripts or summon him at the chair where he is suppose to be at ?
