Gray Death <req> collision mesh

Post » Tue Dec 06, 2011 3:22 pm

Hi, I have been modifying c_plain_tall stairs for imp_small placement. I can't seem to get the collision right:

http://home.comcast.net/~shibeka/graydeath.jpg

This is the default collision for in_c_plain_long stairs, but it is being treated as a visible object. I will continue to experiment, but am asking for adivice or helps. I am using Blender 32 with a 64 bit OS, and experimenting does not leave me with hope since this could just be an error.

At least I need a barrier to lie on top the stairs so ascending wont be so choppy. Following the two web pages I found did not quite fit the instructions. I am at a loss.

Thanks for any help, please message me if you don't want to post in the thread.

make sure the draw type is bounds or wire

if it is bounds or wire, send us the file, so we can have a look at it.

Check the root collision node, and make sure the flag is set to 3. Otherwise, the collision meshes will be visible.
