there is an empty weapon rack in my house
is there any way to display swords in it?

Yeah just activate it and it puts in whatever weapon you have equipped. So does the red mount on the wall upstairs.

At least in my little house there's a red mounting rack just above the outside door. The small gold weapon rack to the right as you enter. Then farther in on the right wall is another red mounting. Upstairs at the top of the stairs is another red one. Finally above the bed is a 3 weapon red mount, a shield in the middle and a weapon on either side of it.

I play the Xbox 360 version of the game, and those racks do not work for me. Nothing pops up saying that I can use them like my book shelves do. I own the house in Whiterun btw.

I've heard you might have to have the weapon equipped in your right hand for it to work. Haven't tried it since I heard that so I can't vouch for it I'm afraid - but it's worth a try I suppose.

You can also activate the bookshelves in the alchamy lab and place books that will actually appear on the shelves.

Bethesda really outdid themselves with those things. I cant wait to get the CK and dissect those things and make more of them.

but the weapon racks do not

i havent bought another house yet, but ive heard its just the whiterun house that doesnt work
hopefully the patch will fix this

It's a glitch that the weapon racks don't work in console versions. Hopefully it will be included in the patch.
