I just became aware that I've been playing against AI in every match. I wasn't aware of this. I also don't know how to get rid of bots and play with real live people only....if it's even possible.

The only possibility I see for this happening is in the versus mode. Yet, I am unable to access Versus mode....why is that? If I can only play matches that have AI in them I am selling this game....I never would have bought it if I knew it didn't have true multiplayer online.

If anyone has some help I would greatly appreciate it.

Isn't Competitive bot free?

Due to the extreme lag issues the player limit has been set to 8 (4 human players on each team). The other 8 spaces are filled by bots.
Sorry, just got to deal with it. But look on the bright side, the bots won't go "hey thats me" when you disguise as them. :wink_smile:

play in competitive mode, or old skool mode, there are no bots

Why can't I change my play mode in the campaign screen?

Because the whole point of campaign is to play with bots, there's only one mode. That's the single difference between Campaign and Versus.

arrr competetive mode sounds the way! hate playing with bots!

uh, isn't big teams 8v8 still? That's why it's there.

There will still be bots if people leave, but it can go up to 8v8 with full human players.
