Annoying problem with the snap-to-grid function

Post » Tue Dec 06, 2011 11:51 am

Been playing around with the GECK and I notice that the changes I do to snap-to-grid does not apply.
Changing from 128 to 64, 32 or 16 won't change how it behaves when I'm dragging the object.
The same applies when I turn the snap-function off, it still snaps.

Am I the only one having this problem?

That is the only problem I have had so far with the engine, that and getting used to the camera controls.

Thanks a lot for reading,
hope to hear from you soon.

Try deleting all the GECK related .ini's in your Documents\My Games\FalloutNV folder. I've had my new kitten walk on my keyboard and, press some odd key combo which completely messed up my preferences and, the only way I could get back to normal was to reset everything.

I'm just guessing but, it's possible your preferences got dinked.

Also if the big problem your having is that your grid snap is off try hitting Shift Q and, click on the tile you want to snap to. This will set the snap to a specific tile and all new tiles will snap to it.

Hope this helps
