So are monks a viable option in Skyrim? I really wanted to make one, but I don't know if the unarmed enchantment is enough... Is there really no unarmed skill?

And let's not get started with werewolves... obviously they're good with hand-to-hand, but I am talking more like a martial artist.

id assume so, do pretty good dmg, with it was messing wiht it a couple minutes ago, healing in one hand, unarmed in other, but if you look into Heavy Armor perk, theres one for unarmed. " Unarmed attacks with heavy armor gauntlets do their armor rating in extra damage."

Well, there is that one Heavy Armor perk, but I don't know how well that would work, and it'd require you to use heavy armor on the hands. Kind of ruins the roleplaying imo.

That's stupid... so you're forced to wear heavy armor in order to make unarmed more viable?

What about the people who want to create martial artists? Time to go back to Morrowind/Oblivion, I guess...

Agree totally. My Rawlith Khaj master probably wont even be viable unless I wear gauntlets. Something I do not want to do. They give us all these awesome robes and even the Alik'r hoods, but totally marginalise H2H. And don't even get me started on how I'm not able to make my Khajiit the color I want (jet black) since they took out full color range and replaced it with half a dozen linear sliders or so.

Dont forget that H2H also has the best finishing moves in skyrim...its like bethedsa is trolling you..
