Crysis 2 PS3 Connection/Host/Lobby/Nat Type etc.

I've been playing this game since the day it came out, I can honestly attest to the connection problems getting better. But they are far from what is needed. I'll get to the point.

- Partying up with friends and joining a lobby only works about half of the time. Most of the time the party of friends have to break up and re-join the lobby.

- Speaking of rejoining the lobby, several times a day the lobby count down will be stuck at 1 second forcing everyone to leave the lobby.

- The other day I got into a game, went through the loading screen and got into the level. Where the count down usually says anywhere from about 20 seconds and under. This is the time where you pick your class loadout. The timer actually read 20 minutes and 45 seconds and was counting down. I'm not even kidding!

- Yellow/Red Bars. I've been seeing more green ones lately, so I think that is going in the right direction. However I am struggling to get into a game with green bars, especially 4 Green ones. To remind you I have my connection wired to my router with my Nat type open. (PS3 IP address is input to the DMZ section)

- NAT type still reads as MODERATE when I know it is incorrect. We're around 3 months after the games release, Crytek you should have fixed this by now. I've heard stories about having and Open Nat type and finding lobbies and hosts much easier.

My suggestions for improved match making, I am no software developer by any means, but I feel the playlists must be narrowed down. The Classic and Pro modes are a ghost town. Standard, Quick Rounds, and even Solo are good, but for right now I honestly don't think the Crysis 2 PS3 community is large enough for such diverse options of play. So for now lets eliminate all of them. For example if you want to play Crash Site, you can begin searching for Crash Site with or without a party. We need to group these lobbies together as quickly as possible. Once the community picks back up you can begin to implement those special lobby selections, like Solo, Fast Rounds, Pro, Classic.

I think it would be best to unlock all game modes for everyone at any level now so people will actually be able to play game modes like Extraction, Assault, and Capture the Relay.

I purchased the Retaliation Map Pack and can say that getting into a Team Instant Action over there is a complete hit or miss, sometimes there will be no one at all, other times it will be only a few people, and sometimes it's near full.

You guys have the most fascinating online shooter I have ever experienced, it's a real shame that the match making process has been so difficult. I know Crysis is not an annual game like Call of Duty is, so no one is holding their breath for the next Crysis to come out at the moment. We want to enjoy this one. I believe all hope is not lost, I think this game is mostly promoted by it's strong word of mouth. I didn't think the Marketing on this game did it enough justice. I talk to people who own PS3's and 360's and when I tell them about Crysis they think I'm talking about Time Crisis, the Arcade machine with the pedal.

With the price of Crysis dropping like most video games do months after their release it's a potential hotcake right now. IF you can improve the matchmaking, like REALLY improve it. This game could have a strong run, and you can maybe even release more DLC over the next 2 years. People will actually buy it.

This is an amazingly unique game, that is hindered by connectivity issues. Please fix it, so we can all play the Crysis 2 we have been wanting to play all this time.

Thats spot on, fully agree.
Gave my first try on MP yesterday and it is defo over engineered... don't think you have that many players online so that such differentiation is required, its a great idea, but applicable for a possibly small community.
The main problem last night was empty servers.
