Private matches. Custom rules that require full participation of others.

My first example is Mike Meyers, played often in call of duty private matches, but we need plenty more ideas like these.


How to play Mike Meyers)
1. make a private match with "Force Team Balance" off!
2. at least 3 players needed for this game.
3. one player on a team by themself, this is Mike Meyers
4. all other players on the opposite team, these are the victims.
5. Only Mike is allowed to attack and only with melee attacks (I suggest a knife)
6. Killed players must stay in spawn and/or join spectator team to represent their permanent death
7. The last survivor must duel Mike in melee combat.
8. If last survivor kills Mike, they become the new Mike.
These are the basic rules, but alterations can be made.

Some alterations could be... Mike must always be a heavy, all other players light, and Mike is allowed to use guns. In the end-game duel, everything goes, full combat. Instead of staying dead, killed players become new Mikes in an infection style of gameplay, and the last survivor is allowed to use full combat while all the Mikes can only melee.

I've been enjoying playing tag in brink.
Basically only using melee attacks and slide tackles (no knives).
if you get knocked down, you're it and have to chase the other person.
Its pretty fun.

Landmines and caltrop grenades also allowed to spice things up a bit!
recommended using a light body type though

This is the most fun part of online games. It's like making up games when you were a kid on the playground and just as fun. Why is this not more popular?

Hide and Seek: Simple enough

Zombie: Red team is zombies, starts with 1 guy. Blue team is humans... guns ( normally pistols only ) When killed by zombie, you become one, change team. Last one standing wins. If you died 1st, you become zombie next round

Civilian Zombie: Red team starts, only 1 zombie. Blue team is humans. Humans must RUN from zombie, if died, they become zombie and change teams. Last human standing wins, HUMANS CAN ONLY HEAL ( NO SHOOTING ) ( this would be especially fun in brink

Hostage: This is kind of hard to explain, if you dont understand.. message me BUT. Red team is terrorists. Blue team is swat AND 1 hostage. The Terrorists put the hostage wherever they want. The goal of the swat is to find the hostage (with the help of the communication of the hostage aka some sort of communication device ), kill the terrorists, and bring the hostage to the extraction point. ONCE the hostage is found. The terrorists new goal is to kill the hostage ( this would be hard to play on brink though with spawn delay and such )

Dodgeball: Two teams, each stay at one ammo box ( on here, it would be command posts ) and shoot rocket launchers at each other ( on here it would be that grenade launcher with 1 shot ) and shoot at each other from long range.

President: Blue team has 1 president and 2 body guards of his choosing. Red team is Terrorist ( pistols only) Body guards must GUARD the president. If he died. The person who killed president becomes the new president and chooses his 2 new bodyguards.

Paintball: (this one was my favorite) EVERYONE uses that single shot assault rifle, modded to their own specs. And players stay in a pre-designated arena ( room ) I would recommend that map that has the hanger with the plane (that hanger would make a good paintball arena ) EACH team starts on one side, Maybe make a chat room... then say GO... When you die, dont come back in till its over. This is actually my FAVORITE game... its crazy fun.



Thats all i can think of off the top of my head, we played these back in Black Hawk Down for the ps2. You SHOULD be able to play most of them, but if i think of any more, ill post them ^.^ enjoy.
