Headhunters

There's always a perfectly legal -if not esteemed- faction in Elder Scrolls games if you play as a fighter or mage, but stealthy archers are pigeon holed as evil crooks. I can see why, but I'd still like to see that changed. That's why I came up with a brand new faction that uses these skills to help others. I'd like to discuss it with all of you and turn it into something we'd all like to see in the next Elder Scrolls game.

The Headhunters are a guild of stealth users who broke away from the Dark Brotherhood a few decades prior to the events of Skyrim. The name "Headhunters" comes from the early days of the guild, when most contracts revolved around collecting bounties. At the time ES6 takes place their most common task include private investigations, delivering packages, lock picking, scouting, hunting valuable animals, and providing archer support for no necked ax wavers and hood wearing lightning swingers. (( :P ))

Contract ideas
Armed and Dangerous: The eldest son of an Orc clan chief has been captured and is being held hostage. Sneak past the murders, free the young Orc, and arm him with his father's favorite battle ax- and if you feel like it shoot a few arrows at the cowering goons while junior redecorates the murder hideout. For the bonus you have to bring back the leaders sword for the chief's collection. If you give it to him he teaches you the secret of his clan's berserker mode.

Debt and heartbreak: You've been hired to steal money from an old woman's son in law to pay his debt before her daughter gets killed over it. There's a bonus if you can convince the daughter to leave her husband. If you do that the mother will give you a super skill book that raises your skill of choice by 25 points.

Thought?

Good idea but I believe the guild would be too similar with the Companions

Your right. I forgot about them. They've been left out for a while now. Do they even still exist.

Perhaps, but if both are in the same game then the writers will probably build in differences for both of their stories.
